L'Isle-Verte

L'Algue d'Or

Inspired by the seaweed, water and land around her, poet and artisan Cynthia Calusic produces original paper and does bookbinding in her ancestral home. The gift shop offers a selection of stationary, art books and pictures infused with the beauty of poetry and seaweed. Discover a museum dedicated to Blanche Lamontagne, the first poetess of Quebec, and to the literary history of L'Isle-Verte. You’ll also find works by local artists and artisans who contribute to the unique character of the village.
