Grange octogonale Adolphe-Gagnon

This eastern Québec economuseum highlights the barn's distinctive architectural characteristics and traces the importance of agriculture in Québec through the years.  Built in 1888 and classified as a "cultural property", the barn stands out with its two bridges and four floors.  This unique wooden cathedral illustrates the ingenuity of Québec's carpenter-farmers of days gone by.  It is an exceptional heritage building that commemorates the agrarian history of the Bas-Saint-Laurent region.
