Attractions and Activities
Inhabited by Native Indians 2,000 years ago, visited by Basque fishermen as early as 1584, the island has been the property of the Société Provancher since 1929. Lying five kilometres offshore, this national historic site (16th century Basque ovens) and migratory bird refuge invites discovery along its two kilometres of trails.
