Manon Lortie, milliner, stylist and designer, is driven by the search for balance and the desire to merge art and creativity. Her upscale hats, renowned as miniature sculptures, are created through the inspiration of the moment, the result of a symbiosis of movement and material. Straw, felt, lace, fur, jute and other natural and organic fibres come to life under the artist’s hands. Through her research and the creative use of artisanal felt, the hat designer is now moving into the clothing arts.
