Attractions and Activities
L'Isle-Verte offers 19 sites representative of the period. In addition to the textile mill and Neo-Gothic church, the tour includes the old courthouse, the Girard house and the Louis-Bertrand house. Several other sites of interest are not open to the public, including the home of poet, Blanche Lamontagne and that of Robertine Barry, Canada’s first woman journalist. The departure for the tour is at the tourist information relay, located in the municipal park, where the guidebook is available for $3.
