This commemorative park marks the site of the first civic and religious establishment in Kamouraska and the Bas-Saint-Laurent, to the east of Rivière-Ouelle (1692-1791). It includes a memorial chapel, historic information panels, the location of the site of the second church, presbytery and the first cemetery in Kamouraska, as well as a rest area. A monument to the memory of the first settlers lists more than 220 different family names, identifying the 1,400 sepulchres found on the site.
